Although the drop is not that high, it is an impressive waterfall with a large amount of water. The road to the waterfall that can be seen from the parking lot is steep, but after walking for a minute or two it becomes flat and is paved with concrete, so it was easy to walk. The signboard says it's 150 meters from the parking lot, but since the road is good, I think you can get to the front of the waterfall in about 5 minutes. It was a hot day, but as we got closer to the waterfall, a cool breeze blew through us, and I thought, ``I'm going to visit this place again in the middle of summer!'' "I thought.

Kumakogen-machi Kamihata Nogawa district. The information board for Sakoshi Falls is located next to the fish farm along Prefectural Route 209. There is a parking space in the small square at the entrance to the slope. Benches and tables are also installed. This waterfall is about 10 minutes from this spot, after climbing up a gentle mountain forest. It is a majestic and beautiful waterfall with a surprisingly large amount of water, but due to the topography (time?) not much sunlight shines into the upper part of the waterfall, making it a rather dark environment. However, I was able to enjoy a pleasant forest bath on the way up and down the slope.

About 5 minutes from the road? You can walk. The waterfall was wide and worth seeing. The surrounding trees were a little in the way, but it was visible. It might look even more beautiful if you could go down to the basin of the waterfall, but as an old man, I couldn't go down.

It's about 160m from the parking lot next to the road to the waterfall basin, but it's a steep climb about half way up. A bamboo cane is kindly placed at the entrance.

There is a signboard at the entrance along Prefectural Route 209 that says ``Sakkoshi Falls → 150m,'' and there is a parking space that can accommodate several cars. You can walk 150 meters to the bottom of the waterfall. The first 1/3 is uphill, and the last 2/3 is mostly level. Most of the road is paved with concrete, but there is a small section of gravel road towards the end. It's not a very famous tourist spot, so I went there with low expectations, but it turned out to be a surprisingly beautiful waterfall.
