Worth a visit. There is a QR code that you can get English translation of the sign board, also they have an English explanation in papers ( you need to ask the person there for it )

Nice tour of Air raid Shelter

During World War II, students apparently dug it as an underground classroom and air raid shelter at the former Miyamura National School. It was explained that digging continued from 1943 until the end of the war on August 15, 1945. ``Mukyu'' means limitless and limitless. Once inside, there was a ``lecture hall'', ``document room'', ``food storeroom'', ``furnace'', and ``evacuation route'', so there was a lot of depth and a variety of spaces. The tour was free, and members of the preservation society provided guidance and explanations. There is also a parking lot and restrooms.

A historical memory from the war period, the air-raid shelter was dug by teachers and students. An old man on the scene explained that he was one of the primary school students who dug the air-raid shelter at that time. There were many crabs in the hole and they could swim along.
