A spring that seems to have a long history, sitting in the middle of Morioka with the sound of running water. Morioka is a city that blends in with nature more than you might imagine. There is a parking lot of a certain size, and it is easy to use. The water that gushes out from the thick pipe is cold even in the middle of summer, and when I drink it, I find it to be more rounded than the tap water I drink on a daily basis, and it seems easy to use for anything. Take water from the well Also, if there are other people around, it is recommended to draw about 10L of water at a time, so be sure to follow good manners.

Spring water from ancient times, After graduating from elementary school, I went there for the first time in 20 years. I think it's the same as before There was an event at Hongu Central Park. I went back to drawing water and drank it for the first time in a while.

Spring water is managed locally and utilized in daily life. There is a parking lot next to Seiryusui that can accommodate several cars, so many visitors come by car. I visited around 3 o'clock at the end of November, when it would get dark after 4 o'clock, and they were bringing water bottles one after another. Drinking water comes out of the pipe through the cover. When I drank it from a cup, it was a delicious water that didn't get stuck in my throat but just flowed in when I sipped it.

There seems to be a waterhole like this around here. It seems that people are still using it. There are pictures of horses and other things on display here, giving it a quaint feel. You can take a leisurely stroll through the sights from the Morioka Machiya Museum.

It has been used as a local water supply for a long time, and is still maintained and managed by local people as a community well. There is space for 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot, and it is posted as Seiryusui Association Parking Lot. The water is divided into four areas, the area surrounded by a roof where the water comes out is drinking water, and each step down from there is water for rice polishing, washing dishes, and foot washing areas. There are limits on how long you can use the pump and how much you can pump at a time, so you need to follow the rules when using it.
