During hanami season it is beautiful to visit with the blossoms. There are many visitors to the area and waiting to get an individual photo with the statue, and it would be near impossible to get a cleared picture with the statue (the best I got was with half a back-pack as visitors were switching positions). Although, if you are not bothered by others being in your images and are happy to visit for the experience, then you can probably enjoy.

the crossing is the interesting part, but the statue is nearby. the statue's story is very interesting, and there's a good movie about it, but the statue itself isn't much. there's a long line of people who want to take picture with it, i don't think it's worth the time. i took the picture of it from the side, without me in the picture, and then another picture of the line, because it's ridiculous and funny

Hatchiko monument is not as spectacular as expected. However, there were no big queues for a photo with it. Shibuya itself is an amazing place, and Hatchiko is located right at the Scramble Crossing.

The story of Hachiko is very touching. Easy access to his statue from the train & right beside the famous Shibuya crossing. Plenty of places to shop & eat. A fun & vibrant nightlife scene.

The famous Shibuya crossing and memorable Hochiko statue. Absolutely amazing to be there. So many people are crossing at the same time. Normally we see this in the movies but it was really something to remember. Every step is a story, every story is a journey at Shibuya. Shibuya: A dance of footsteps.
