This museum is located on the second floor of a pearl jewelry store. Although it's not that big, the paper dolls are surprisingly large and impressive, and I enjoyed the lively diorama of the pilgrimage route from Miyagawa River to Uji Bridge. As of August 2024, students can enter for 100 yen

It's a small museum on one floor, but the cases are filled with small Japanese paper dolls, and it's a place where you can experience ethnic culture such as Okagemiri and shrine pilgrimages. If you don't just visit the Geku of Ise Jingu, but also visit the nearby Jingu Chokokan, you will be able to reconsider your visit to the shrine and deepen your understanding of it. It's on the second floor of the pearl shop. I felt it was a bit difficult to enter as I passed by beautiful-eyed ladies wearing all black and wearing pearls, and then I passed in front of customers who were coming to buy pearls.

I used "Mawaryanse". On the second floor of the museum, there is a paper doll diorama that recreates the Ise pilgrimage. However, it is only on display and you can finish viewing it in 5 minutes. I don't recommend it to anyone other than people who are interested in paper dolls or who want to spend a quiet time. I didn't feel it was worth 300 yen. There is a pearl shop on the first floor, and a handicraft store in an inconspicuous place? 20 to 30 genuine pearls are sold for around 5,000 yen. You can also watch the staff sorting pearls through the glass. There is no entrance fee required for just visiting the shop, so if you are interested in pearls, you may want to go.

The Edo period Ise pilgrimage is recreated using dolls made from washi paper. Although the exhibit is only on one floor, it was interesting to see what it was like back then. Photography was not allowed inside the museum, so I took a good look at it (lol) Personally, I like doll dioramas like this, so it was fun.
