An under-rated great place to spend quiet and educational time with your partner or having fun with children in the jungle gym section. This place is a bit, old, looks a bit abandoned - probably because it was in december, but we had lots of fun, especially trying the huge jungle gym, something I haven't done for more than 30 years.

This year, I visited for the first time in a while. July 6th was a sunny day before noon. On July 17th, it was after 8 o'clock after the rain. We recommend coming early in the morning. It's really beautiful after the rain. The park opens at 8am on weekdays and 7am on weekends and holidays. Admission is free.

There is a restaurant and a bath at the entrance parking lot, making it easy to visit. You can enter Hoki Kodai no Oka Park by crossing the small hill of the group of ancient tombs. Admission is free and closed on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

Exploration of ancient tombs Move from Yonago Station to Yodoe Station To Hoki Ancient Hill Park Free admission is When you go out to the garden, the flowers are in full bloom. Yuri is almost finished The hydrangeas are in full bloom. In the ancient lotus garden Many types of lotuses are planted Several varieties are starting to bloom now. Looks like it will be worth seeing when it blooms Raindrops are playing on the lotus leaf It's soothing to watch the water gradually turn into a big puddle. The person who is being taken care of is working hard. Apparently they are planted so that the flowers bloom all year round. At Yayoi Village in the back of the park There is a clay figure with a shield I was able to tour the scallop-shaped tomb.

I stopped by to see lotuses for the first time in years. I remember that I had to pay to enter the park before, but this time the curtains were closed at the reception desk and I was able to enter and exit the park for free. However, there is a time limit and the manager said that the park closes at 5pm. It was still early for the important lotus flowers, so instead we were able to enjoy the hydrangeas at their best.
