The scenery is so great that it is said to be Hokkaido in Niigata Prefecture. As of September 23rd, there are many buds on the cosmos, so I would say it is in about 30% bloom. I wonder if the best time to see it will be in October? I feel that.

As you go up the winding mountain path, you will see a blanket of autumn cherry blossoms! This is the first time I have seen so many autumn cherry blossoms blooming. It was a spectacular view. There is also a parking lot that can accommodate about 20 cars, and everything is free! Thank you! It was the best. After it rains, the ground will be wet and your shoes will get a little bit of dirt. I want to come again next year.

22.9.17 (Uwappara Cosmos En) It's a sunny day. The cosmos have just started blooming Because it's on a small hill The scenery of the mountains in the distance and the bright colors of the cosmos... it was very nice. Please check the flowering status and aim to see the flowers in full bloom. ------ You can jump to [Niigata Sightseeing Navigation] from the website in the Overview tab of this site. Also on [Uonuma City Tourism Official Site] More detailed information (flowering status, etc.) is included. “It’s not just the autumn leaves⁉ Uonuma’s hidden autumn tradition Uehara Cosmos Garden” Try searching for it. By the way, be sure to take precautions against the sun. It's quite large, so just walking through the cosmos fields can make you feel exhausted from the heat. Parking lot is small. There is no toilet.

Wednesday, October 4, 2023 Before noon Lightly cloudy cosmos of various colors Mt. Gongendo clearly visible Echigo Sanzan is from the right Mt. Hakkaisan, Mt. Komagatake, and Mt. Nakanodake in the back right. Mt. Arasawa on the left I visited on a weekday, but my wife and I were able to enjoy a walk around the place as it was reserved for us. It looks like it will still take about two weeks to reach full bloom. Lots of buds! In the clear autumn air, the contrast between the simple cuteness of cosmos and the majestic silhouette of Uonuma's famous mountain. I found another memorable scene.
