beautiful park of 2 km sakura lined walk way along the river. we were lucky to be there at the peak of the cherry blossoms season. even when crowded, there’s always a place/spot to sit. i took picture of an elderly couple sitting under a sakura tree — what a beautiful and heart warming sight!

I witnessed the Hiburi Kamakura Matsuri during winter 2018 and it was one of the most magical thing I had ever seen!

It's a river bank. In spring, cherry blossoms are in full bloom on the left bank of the Hinokiuchi River, which stretches for about 2km. I parked at the ``Semboku City Municipal Cherry Blossom Tree Parking Lot'' and took a walk. During the cherry blossom season, there is a parking fee of 500 yen. The row of cherry blossom trees along the river was very beautiful. It was nice to be able to take a leisurely stroll along the path lined with cherry blossom trees while listening to the sound of the river, and the view of the red bridge and cherry blossoms along the way was also nice. In addition to cherry blossoms, various other flowers were blooming along the river, making me feel that spring had arrived. The weeping cherry blossoms at the Samurai Residence in Kakunodate were a bit dusty, but it was nice to be able to take a walk with them. During the spring season, we recommend visiting the samurai residences as well.
