Even in summer, it is a cool place where you can hear the sound of the river and see limestone caves. The bridge in particular is majestic and impressive. Please note that you may have to pay a parking fee of 500 yen on weekends and depending on the season. I think it's a great place to walk as there are places to eat and drink, and benches and restrooms along the way.

I went to see the autumn leaves on November 3rd. It is a famous spot for autumn leaves🍁 There is a first parking lot at the Kami-Taishaku entrance, and a second parking lot is closer to the promenade. I appreciate that it is a set price of 500 yen per day and the Shinryu Lake parking lot. The recommended route is Hakuundo -> Karamon -> Oni Memorial Tower -> Obashi -> Dangyokei -> Turn around from Kamoji Bridge. It was a 5km round trip and I enjoyed looking at the autumn leaves and bathing in the forest for about an hour and a half. Karamon is full of Ghibli vibes. The majesty of Oohashi is impressive. This is a really recommended area.

I went there on a Golden Week day. There is a free parking lot, and if you get out of your car and walk along the sidewalk, you will come across a tunnel-shaped rock. I think it took about 40 minutes by walking slowly. Nature is amazing (lol) Even after passing through the rocks, the road continued for a long time, but I turned U on the way, thinking of going back later. I recommend you to go there at least once if you have time. Take a drive by car or motorcycle on a nice day. Oh yeah, there were toilets near the parking lot and along the way.

A relaxing place where you can feel the eternal nature created by the limestone geology. We recommend visiting around May, before the plum season.

A perfect place for a holiday stroll during the warm season. Let's pay the 500 yen for the parking lot without complaining as it is an investment in our future selves. After parking your car, eat your fill at the restaurant. Zaru udon is recommended in summer. In addition to the restaurant in front of the parking lot, there is also a restaurant near the entrance of Taishaku Gorge with a view of the river. Good scenery and caves. On your way home when you're tired, you can soak your feet in the river to relieve your fatigue.
