The road is wide and easy to get to. The parking lot is small, so if it gets crowded you may not be able to park. I went there when the temperature in Marugame city was 38 degrees Celsius, but when I went down to the river in the valley, it was 25 degrees Celsius. I didn't even sweat and it felt really cool and comfortable. It can be slippery, so you should consider wearing shoes. There were foreigners and families with children swimming, but it seemed safe.
