For a day trip to Uminonakamichi Seaside Park we started our day at Hakata Port to ride a ferry at Hakatafutodai 1 Terminal to Saitozaki Port. We had a good view of the Hakata Port Tower while we ate sushi for lunch at Hakata Toyoichi before the ferry ride. We were not able to go up the tower but if not pressed for time, it would be a sight to see and it is also free. The tower is even nice to see from the water. The port area has a park , an onsen, restaurants and a small strip mall. It is accessible by bus from Tenjin area.

Free to get up in the tower and nice view of fukuoka, with a small harbor museum at the foot of the tower.

No ticket is needed. Awosome place for summer night to stay on sea side .

Entrance is free. You need to be there by 16:40 for the last entrance to able to go up the tower. You will have a nice view to the harbor and the city.
