Amazing museum telling the story of Tateyama worship, and Buddhism in the region. They have an English guide book, and you can also download an app for English commentary. Very friendly staff, thank you very much.

The theme on the 3rd floor is the nature of Tateyama, and the theme on the 2nd floor is exhibits about Tateyama's beliefs and customs. Both were good, but the second floor was especially good. One of the three sacred mountains (Mt. Fuji, Mt. Hakusan, and Mt. Tate), Tateyama's characteristic feature may be the statue of an maiden. The museum alone is worth seeing, but there are many facilities, temples, and shrines in the area, and it will take quite a while to see them all. It's worth seeing.

You can gain a good understanding of the Tateyama faith and the history of Tateyama. It's a good spot to stop by when sightseeing in Toyama. There's also a specimen of a bear. Pretty cute.
