I walked through the promenade circles the lake. It took 40 minutes. The path is narrow and a bunch of spiderwebs. There is not a view spot during the course.

There are quite a few parking spaces. There is also a toilet. You can go to the lake by car. However, the parking lot is not well-developed, so only a few cars can be parked. There were boats to rent. There was also a kiosk, but it may not be functioning. It's a quiet place. There seem to be a lot of walking trails.

I stopped by when I went to Fubo Peace Memorial Park. I went in the morning of Saturday, March 16th. There was no snow at all in the town at the foot of the mountain, but as you can see in the photo, there was a lot of snow left. I was able to drive to the parking lot, but I didn't get to the famous caged vending machine. Apparently it's closed in the winter due to snow, or rather people aren't allowed there. (You can get there by walking through the snow that has been removed) I think when I came here a long time ago, there were people on boats and they were selling food. I wonder if it still feels like that. There was a sign that said it was a water source, but when I saw the parking lot covered in water from melting snow, I thought, ``I see.'' As a side note, there are some ranches along the way, so it's a peaceful place. There was also a fox village nearby. It's basically the middle of a big mountain with nothing on it, but you can see things here and there.

It's a lake. It is located a short distance from Miyagi Prefectural Route 51 Minami Zao Shichikashuku Line. Parking is available. You can also visit it by walking along the approximately 1km promenade from the Yamabiko Suspension Bridge parking lot. I visited during the autumn leaves season. Since it was a lake, there were no waves and the surrounding mountains were reflected in the lake. The scenery of the autumn leaves and the reflection in the lake was beautiful. Also, the fallen autumn leaves were piling up on the waterfront, which was beautiful. It seems like they rent out boats, and there were some people rowing them. Unfortunately, the waves created by the boats made it difficult to see the reflection of the mountains. On days when the weather is nice, you can even see Mt. Fubo, and the view of the lake and Mt. Fubo is also beautiful. The weather got bad and I couldn't see it when I visited. . We recommend taking a tour together with the Yamabiko Suspension Bridge. There are muddy areas along the promenade, so we recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting dirty.
