A very pretty sight especially in spring with the cherry blossom. The information signs were very informative and easy to read containing different languages. The castle ruins is a short walk from Fukui station.

Beautiful and full of historical information, great place to visit and enjoy all his surroundings, and is just a couple of blocks from Fukui Station.

Interesting, but fairly small. If you’re in Fukui, make sure to walk by a have a look, but don’t arrange a trip to Fukui just for this.

Bit of a rush through here. Seems to be some construction going on. Wall is pretty impressive although there's not too much left apart from the wall. Nice moat around
