Relaxing boat ride as well info and highlights of the river area all done in Japanese. But not to worry you’ll be able to figure out what they’re saying, jus kick-back, relax, enjoy and take pictures. We did…

It's a fun and relaxing experience! The boats feel quite comfortable. The gorge itself is so beautiful a d tranquil. We saw a variety of birds which was interesting. We could do with less talking on behalf of the boat operator but that's the standard for guidance in Japan.d

After all the experience we had at Shikoku island, this one felt like a waste of money. All you can see is the river and banks. Maybe it's better if you know the Japanese language, cause everything we've got from what was said by a driver is one stone that looked like a lion. You can go downstairs and take some photos of George for free. I think it's better to have a walk to the train station by foot doing photos along the way.

Relaxing boat riding with beautiful scenery. Crystal clear water, steep cliffs and strange looking boulders. The commentary was in Japanese only, I wish English was also provided. But this didn’t dampen the fun.

Japanese-only guidance on the tour boat. Didn’t feel very welcome. The path from the souvenir shop/ticketing booth to the pier is grubby. You get better views of the gorge on the rocks surrounding the pier compared to the boat itself.
