Kujukushima Pearl Sea Resort

Nice place for a one day visit with the family. There is an open park, restaurants, aquarium, and terminal for tour ships of the 99 islands. The aquarium is not that big and offered a discount for Sasebo residents (which includes the US military) There are also sea kayaks for rent.

Take a walk around the park right behind the resort. It only takes about ten minutes. You will experience another world. It is a view of Sasebo.

Definitely worth a ride to see the Kujuku islands! We went there in March and the weather was nice, therefore we were able to enjoy the breeze and sunshine outdoors. It took less than an hour and You can observe different shapes of islands. The broadcast was in Japanese, Chinese, English and Korean so that tourists could know more about the Kujuku islands. From 10:00 to 16:00, the cruise departed every hour. There were food and drinks sold. We enjoyed Yuzu favoured ice-cream. If you are also planning to visit the aquarium Umikirakira, you may show up the ticket to Umikirakira then get a discount.

This resort features an aquarium, shopping and food dining areas and boat ride to include a cruise that will view the 99 islands.

A good and comfortable voyage about 40 minutes, cruising around 99 islands in the southwest tip of Kushu. Best to arrive 5 minutes before start to catch up best seating to enjoy the trip. Also you can walk out to open board to stay close to the coast
