Worth the price of admission. Amazing story of the restoration and construction of the castle. It's massive. Great views out across the region. Leave your shoes at the door.

I did not enter the castle as the pictures on google maps didn’t look too promising (the woodwork did look interesting) but the outside was astonishing! Such a huge and cleverly constructed fort. The barbican contains a magnificent wooden gate.

The castle park is pretty and free. But to go inside you need to pay a ticket that's not wort it in our opinion. Its only about the construction after the fire

Great visit even tough its was a rainy day, it's all made reconstructing of the older castle that was built in the 16 century, fire and wars destroyed the mosts, but the new one has the Japanese works is phenomenal. No admission was charged, its free.
