The temple, one of Japan’s oldest and most significant, is renowned for its beautiful architecture and historical importance. The main hall and the east and west pagodas are impressive, each showcasing intricate designs and craftsmanship. The serene atmosphere of the temple grounds, coupled with the lush greenery, creates a peaceful and reflective environment.

Seem most temple in Japan is nice ..This temple is too... The left side pagoda has these bronze relief scenes inside of Buddha that are incredible (no photos allowed). It’s a rather large complex with much to view, but seems like U could cover it in 1/2hours...

Yakushi-ji is one of the temples in Nara that is designated a World Heritage by UNESCO. It is a big temple with an east and west side. The west side of the temple is where the kondo and pagodas are located. Given the size of the temple and empty spaces between buildings, it is not recommended to go visit in summer (very hot!). Ticket prices are reasonable.

This temple was amazing! The left side pagoda has these bronze relief scenes inside of Buddha that are incredible (no photos allowed). The Buddhas here are absolutely beautiful. It’s a rather large complex with much to view, it’s worth the higher package price of ¥1,700.
