Unique experience walking through the trail and caves with an enthusiastic local guide. It took ard 90 minutes. Only light physical exertion. And they gave u cold tea to make sure u stay hydrated. Our guide only spoke Japanese, ( not sure if they hv English tour), but there were notes printed out for you in English and Chinese. Very friendly.

Amazing - avatar like - place. The trees, plants, caves are beautiful!! NOT stroller friendly. Some places are slick so wear GOOD walking shoes! Have a RESERVATION- use the website! Try the hibiscus juice! It's amazing! If English speaking, ask the guide for the English informational packet. It was an incredible experience to do once! There are NO bathrooms on the trail so make sure if you bring kids, they can hold it for 90 minutes!!

First of all, make sure that you make a reservation through their website before going. RESERVE IN ADVANCE: REQUIRED. The walkthrough will take an hour and a half. Tip: instead of being on time, be early because you meet at a cafe that you can only use if you come early. There's some good local coffee and juices. I went with my fiancée, but amongst our guided tour (the only way you can get in) was all Japanese families with adorable kids. This doesn't mean that it's a family only kind of thing. In fact, it seems like the next group after ours was filled with young couples, so we just happened to have a group with families. If you want to take your partner here, it's a great tour to enjoy. They have translated scripts of the guide (written, not audio). The guide was nice and she told many interesting anecdotes that even without my Japanese ability I'd have understood because there were pictures to go with her stories. This place and Okinawa World, next to it, have different caves to check out. They're both unique and a must see in Okinawa. Also if you call, there is someone who speaks a little English and they can help you. The guide will only know Japanese, though.

This has been my favorite spot since coming to Okinawa. You really feel like you've entered another world and you can't help but feel a deep connection to the past and the history of this amazing Island! 10/10 recommend!

The guided tour is superb. Although we don't speak Japanese and the tour was conducted in Japanese, it was not an issue as we were provided with materials translated in English and Chinese. There were many interestings spots throughout the tour and the tour guide was professional. The trail was not too physically demanding. The whole experience was so out of our expectation in a good way. Highly recommended to join the guided tour when you visit around this area of Okinawa.
