八戸観音滝

Would have loved to see the place. But after searching for about half an hour, we couldn't find an alternative route to get to the waterfall since the main road was closed and we were doubtful if we could ignore the closure sign. We left a bit frustrated, because we could hear but not see the waterfall.

The road beyond Hachinohe Kannon Falls was closed to traffic. It was after a rain, so there was a lot of water and it was very impressive. It's located close enough that you can see it from the road.

Because of the road renovation, it has turned into a deserted secret place😋💕Google Maps will really lead you to the wrong path. 2023.6.17 The road to Hachinohe Kannon Falls is on Google Maps, so it's a bit confusing. The road from the main thoroughfare to Route 237 along the Gokase River is quite narrow. If you check the MAP, there will be a 🅿️ mark on Route 237 near the waterfall, and that will be the space where you can park when going to the waterfall. Maybe 2 or 3 cars ~ They are not maintained 🤣 There are two roads to the waterfall, and the one that starts near the Jizo statue in the parking lot is paved, but there are quite a few ups and downs💦There is a risk of falling if you wear slippery shoes😰 The road leading from the Hachinohe Kannon Falls signboard is a muddy but flat road. The waterfall has a large amount of water It's worth seeing~👍✨It's great to be able to see the waterfall up close😁There are so many places to see around the Gokase River, so if you're in the area, be sure to visit Hachinohe Kannon Falls as well🌿

The parking lot is not particularly well-maintained, but I was able to park my car without any difficulty. From there, you can reach the waterfall in about 3 minutes on foot. Please be careful as it is muddy. But it's nice to be able to walk without any ups and downs. Even elderly people can go see it. There is a T R site. The waterfall is a pleasant waterfall that falls directly below without any obstacles. It is said to be 41 meters high. I went in mid-April, on a sunny day after the rain, and it felt very nice. The scenery was beautiful with both greenery and water.
