Beside the big cat, those pottery smaller cats are worth visiting as artworks, no matter you like cats or not. You will be surprised by the creative talent of those artists.

Many shops are closed. Worth a walk to take some photos if your trip is not a rush one. 500 yen for parking and you need to buy a ticket from a self service machine inside the shop and display it at your windshield before you start your walking tour.

#raeshares_セブチ巡り to take Jun's picture, you had to be on a bridge where bicycles and motorcycles could also pass, so be cautious of that. for solo travelers! yes, it was possible to take a picture on your own with a tripod. more seventeen-related post @rae_shares on instagram!

Iconic tourist attraction in Tokoname where is one of Japan's six most important ancient kiln towns and the birthplace of lucky cat. This giant statue measuring 3.6m by 6.3m is considered the guardian cat overlooking the city. In 2008 a contest was held to determine its name. Tokonyan chosen from 1400 suggestions became its official name. There were many smaller lucky cats displayed along the footpath under this statue. Pay a visit and they were cute and interesting.

The iconic cat. It’s a bit of of a travel by train. I recommend going to the beach nearby afterward
