Sekiyama Waterfall

Nice! Although it is not a big waterfall, there is a strong flow of water. The sound of the waterfall is energizing! There are stairs with handrails that lead to the bridge for a good view. Steps are higher than usual. I think could be difficult for young children. There is good number of parking lots. Toilets are at the car park.

The waterfall is beautiful and the area has a relaxing atmosphere. Many kids swam near the waterfall. Adults waded in the water. It was refreshing. There are some restaurants nearby.

I like the waterfall there and visitors could see the fall from a restaurant just beside the waterfall. Stairs to walk down to the fall are available for those who want to watch closer.

Loved this place. So refreshing. The waterfall is spectacular. You can watch or take photo from the top or go through the path to touch the water. Recommended if you like to have a break on the way going either Sendai or Yamagata. There is a Japanese style restaurant and shop. You can enjoy the view while having lunch here. There is free parking area.
