Just lovely. If you can’t make it over to the waterfall, the cable car and ski lift make it an easy visit.

Getting cold! Cloudy day… but should be worth it with clear sky.

I went there by car. From the Kurohime area, go up the forest road, cross the Hyakumannin slope, and go via Shobunuma. You can easily get there by minivan, but I think it can be a little scary for people who are not used to driving. There are some places where you can cross paths. The swamp is very beautiful. Perhaps because fishing is completely prohibited, the fish are friendly and won't be alarmed at all even if you get close.

I came by car to save on lift fees, and there were fish in the swamp. The weather was good, the scenery was fresh, the air was delicious, and although the air was unseasoned, it was full of ozone and tasted delicious.

We took the Zao Central Ropeway to the top of Torikabutsu Station, took the lift, and enjoyed a walk from Dokko-numa to Fudo Falls. The round trip is 2.4km and takes about 1 hour. The way there is all the way down, and the way back is all the way up, so it's best to wear comfortable shoes. There are tables and chairs on the banks of the Dokko Swamp in the beech forest, so you can relax when the weather is nice. It is popular and recommended during the autumn leaves season. However, as it is located at an altitude of approximately 1,400m and the temperature can be low, it is necessary to check the weather that day and prepare cold weather gear.
