Very busy! Plenty of street food and really a meat eaters paradise. Steamed buns, takoyaki, they have it all! but if you’re a vegetarian there really aren’t any options for you. Can be very hot in the middle of summer, so umbrellas are recommended. The Chinatown is also only about 3-4 streets wide so it’s a lot packed into a smaller area.

Food bit more expensive than usual, practically the prices seems to be the same than in others cities but the amount of food is noticeable less. Most of restaurant have the same food, the places is beautiful, close very early, around 8:45 pm they start closing restaurant and stores

Nankinmachi is one of the famous spots around Kobe with a rich history that dates back a century. They are known for having a lot of shops, restaurants, and food stalls selling different kinds of delectable and mouthwatering Chinese cuisines, as well as Kobe beef dishes. Your Kobe trip will not be complete without visiting this place, I suggest adding this place to your itinerary.

It's very busy but fun here! There are tons of street vendors and they sell lots of typical Chinese food from skewers to baos. It's a bit hard to walk through the crowd but it's a fun experience.

Chinatown of Kobe. Honestly if you came from an Asian country with Chinatown in your country, or you're a Chinese, there's nothing else special enough to call for a visit. It's a very small area. Great place for people craving for Chinese food. Relatively quiet on a weekday night.
