If you're big into Sylvanian Families, you'll find a lot to enjoy here. It's a smaller park within the bigger Komorebi Mori park, so keep in mind that you'll need to buy a separate entrance to get in. The main entrance and gift shops accept credit cards, but to get into Sylvanian Park or do other activities you'll need to be sure to bring cash. Worth noting that the park is not very English friendly, so you'll need to know at least a rudimentary level of Japanese to speak with the employees. There's a fun quiz rally activity they give you at the entrance of the park that you can redeem for a figure at the gift shop, which also sells exclusive figures that can only be purchased at the park. If you come on a rainy day, they make it up to you by giving you a special figure of a character in a raincoat. There is apparently a shuttle you can take to the park from Ushiku station, but it only runs on weekends and holidays. If you want to get to the park during the week, you'll need to either drive yourself or take a taxi. We took a taxi from Ryugasakishi station and it ended up costing around 5,000 yen. The park isn't huge but if you like the Sylvanian Families playsets, you'll enjoy seeing the houses and figures recreated in life size. We took our time and found plenty of things to fill a day at the park.

So big and so many things you can do and enjoy specially with your family. There’s a garden for flowers, souvenir shops, barbeque area with reasonable prices of set menus, a catched and grill fishing area, some animals to look and feed, big slides where children and adults can have fun , trampolines, zip lines and a zip line course, restaurants to eat, so many benches to sit hammock and tent area ,go cart, bike area, a paddle swan boat, and many more. I recommend it for a whole family of fun.

If your kid loves Calico Critters (called Sylvania Family in Japan), then they'll love this. The park is located inside a bigger park, and the major downside is you have to pay to get into the park and then pay to get into Sylvania Park. Sylvania Park may be small, but they really try to make it worth a visit. There was a simple quiz to fill out that scored us our choice of a little Sylvania doll, a few side games that, if you win and tell a staff member, you get a sticker, photo ops, and random games to play. It was quite a fun day, I have to say.
