Visited Noridake's Forest on Sunday morning. It rained a little, but there were people and it was not noisy or crowded. There were many people who took a quiet walk in the garden rather than several exhibition halls and museums, so it was relaxing. The park site in front of the ION Mall, which is directly connected, was well established, so it was good to visit with children. In front of the ion mall, there was also a ceramic wall built of pottery pieces By the way, there is a Tatsuya bookstore in Ion Mall. The walls of huge books are wonderful

Noritake no Mori, located in Nagoya, is a cultural and historical site dedicated to the legacy of Noritake, a globally renowned ceramics company. The complex is a blend of lush gardens, historical buildings, and modern exhibits, making it a serene escape within the city. When you enter Noritake no Mori, the first thing that strikes you is the beautifully landscaped garden. The greenery is meticulously maintained, providing a peaceful environment for a leisurely stroll. The contrast between the natural elements and the historical red-brick factory buildings creates a unique ambiance, blending nature and industrial heritage. The site includes several attractions: 1. **Craft Center**: This is where you can observe the craftsmanship behind Noritake’s fine ceramics. The artisans work meticulously, and you can watch the process from start to finish. They also offer workshops where you can try your hand at painting ceramics. It's a great way to gain a deeper appreciation for the artistry involved. 2. **Noritake Museum**: The museum showcases a vast collection of Noritake products from over a century, including some rare and exquisite pieces. The exhibits are well-curated, providing a chronological journey through the company’s history and its impact on global ceramic arts. 3. **Shopping and Dining**: There’s a shop where you can purchase Noritake products, ranging from everyday tableware to more luxurious items. The prices can be high, reflecting the quality and craftsmanship. There’s also a café where you can enjoy light meals or desserts, often served on Noritake tableware, adding a special touch to the experience. 4. **Garden and Factory Ruins**: The garden is a peaceful place to relax, with seasonal flowers and a pond that reflects the surroundings beautifully. The ruins of the original factory are also on display, giving a sense of the site's industrial past. Overall, Noritake no Mori offers a balanced mix of culture, history, and nature. It's an ideal spot for those interested in ceramics or simply looking for a quiet place to unwind. Whether you're exploring the exhibits, shopping for fine ceramics, or just enjoying the tranquil environment, it’s a place that leaves a lasting impression.

Noritake Garden is a place where people can enjoy many things. The garden has European-style red brick buildings. The landscaping has flowing water and green plants. See historic structures like the six chimneys built in 1933. There is a Tsutaya Book store for those who love to read, featuring high wall with books from floor to ceiling. Aeon mall has many shops as well.
