This place is full of vintage cars & it is such a visual treat! Vintage Japanese & European cars. The complex is 3 storeys high with mezzanine on 1st & 2nd floor. If you are a car enthusiast, this is the place to go for an hour or 2.

Unbelievable a lots of historical vehicles in this building. My husband who loves mechanic stayed many hours! This building is three or four stories but they have shelves between them so thousand vehicles there.

As someone from Germany, I must say this museum is quite special and unique. It gives a great insight in Japanese car culture! I also saw a few uncommon European cars!

It is rare to find a place that where so many vehicles are all in one place. This is the Motorcar Museum of Japan. Cars from Japan, North America, Europe, China and more. From mass-market to ultra-luxury cars. Vehicles from the dawn of the automobile to the modern era. I don't know what criteria were used to select these cars, but the sheer volume is exhausting to visit. It is a pity that there are so few racing cars. Parking available. Tickets can only be bought in cash. Credit cards are accepted to buy souvenirs and so on inside.

A great stop in Komatsu. Did not even k ow about it until the hotel staff at the Komatsu Onsen told us a out it. With-in walking distance. It was a good experience to see the difference in automobiles from Japan's history. The museum even has more recent vehicles such as the R34 Skyline as well as some classic Cadillac sedans. The odd item was the selection of urinals from around the world. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
