This is really a park on top of a hill so be ready to do some walking up and down either slopes or stairs. There are 5 parking lots at various levels along the hill, number 5 being the lowest level and number 1 being closest to the top. There is a handicap parking space in front of the public bathroom but I'm not sure how you get there from the road. The park itself is very big and you could probably explore for a good hour and still miss some pathway or playground. It's a beautiful place to go in spring because all along the road and at the top of the park there are big, beautiful cherry blossom trees. Around the weekend of the 20th there is a cherry blossom festival with little food booths and a lot of people come to enjoy the cherry trees and a picnic. There are little gems hidden throughout the park, there is a shrine, a camp ground (more for day trips than pitching a tent), a playground for kids, a little area with peacocks and rabbits, and so on. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom by where the peacocks are and a small concrete path but it only wraps around one rung of the park on the second to the top level near parking lot number 1.

It might be a hidden spot for cherry blossom viewing 😊 It's beautiful and easy to have a picnic, it's easy to walk around, there's a parking lot, there's a restroom, and there are some stalls and light-up facilities. The flowers were in full bloom around the 4th parking lot below with 2 minutes blooming near the top. Above all, April 14th is free.

It is a famous cherry blossom viewing spot that represents Shiwa Town. It's located on top of a hill, so if you walk there from the town, you'll get a good workout and get sweaty. On a clear day, Mt. Iwate and Mt. Himegami can also be seen beautifully.

①.It's down about 40%, but you can still enjoy it. There is also an open-air garden, so come enjoy the cherry blossom viewing! ②.Let's go pray at the shrine of love before telling the person you love! If the love between the two of you grows stronger, you can start a family. Let's pray for everyone's love! ③ If you take a picture of Mt. Iwate from Shiroyama Park, you can take a picture with the cherry blossoms.

This is a free camping site located on a small hill near the city that requires application. The site location is very difficult to find. Go up to the parking lot at the top, go down further and there is a signboard on the right side. We applied in advance to the office that manages the facility and asked for details before using it. Usage rules 1. No open flames allowed 2. Take your trash home with you 3. Pets are allowed, must be on a leash, and owners must dispose of feces and urine. Facility 1. There is a water hole, but there is no water at all. 2. Toilets are flush-type, so bring your own paper towels. The site feels small, the grass is not growing and it looks like it is well maintained. There are some difficulties. 1. There is no water at the water source. 2. The restroom is far away, but the restroom in the parking lot is still safe. 3. I asked local people who were out walking that bears sometimes come out, and I was able to talk to someone who had actually been attacked. 4. I also talked to a local person walking about this, and it seems that in the past it was famous locally for being haunted by spirits, and it was actually posted on Tube. Nothing happened when I stayed there, so I feel like it's okay. There are castle ruins and other sights to see, but I think it would be difficult to camp overnight, so a day trip might be better.
