This is a small gondola that connects you to Mt. Hakodate overlooking Lake Biwa. If it's ski season, I'm sure it will be full of skiers. There is no air conditioning, so it gets quite hot in the summer, but there are fans available for you to use. As expected, the view of Lake Biwa is great, and you can spend a whole day in the other world at the end.

I came here on a Sunday in late October 2023, as the best time to see kochia was nearing its end. Parking fee was 1000 yen, gondola ticket round trip 2500 yen. The parking lot was almost full and only the very back seats were empty. The wait time for the gondola was about 15 minutes. Riding is by group, but since we were two couples, we shared a seat with another couple.

The information on the internet is a little different... 2,500 yen, parking lot 1,000 yen 8/5 For memories of summer vacation! If you have a swimsuit, you can play in the water, and if you have socks, you can go on the trampoline. Playing in the snow in the summer is also great! ←The snow looked like rough ice. . . The best playground for small children 😄 The wind chimes felt cool, Lake Biwa was beautiful, and the flowers were blooming beautifully! It's cool when the wind blows, but the sun is harsh so don't take proper sun protection or you might get burnt. It's so burnt💦

It was cooler at the top of the mountain than where we usually live, and the kids were able to play to their heart's content, and it was such a fun place that they said they wanted to come back next week! Even adults were able to do it quite easily.

It's a good place for adults to have fun. I entered the park in the afternoon, but the 3 attraction tickets were an expensive set ticket. The only thing you can enjoy with your child is a buggy, and my 5-year-old wanted to ride in a buggy, so I was forced to buy a set even though I was told I could buy a single ticket on-site. Tickets are for the individual only and cannot be shared with family members. The only way to use the other tickets was to leave my child with a family member, and due to the size of the park and the nature of the attractions, I ended up throwing away one without using it. The number of staff is small, and there is no one to manage the children's play equipment, so even if they want to play, they wait until others get bored. Despite its size, there aren't any benches, so you just have to stand there and watch the children play, which can be tiring. There are no large trees and no shade, so it is essential to take precautions against the heat and sunburn. Is it enough to go once?
