Nice park with a peaceful atmosphere. There are several pavilions and pergola. Tickets are 500 yen for the adults. Unfortunately not enough benches to sit. A lot of water canals and ponds with huge gold fishes in it. Some shops and machines are available to buy food and drink. In summer it can be really hot. I recommend going there at the end of the day.

Excellent garden. It was absolutely stunning and delightful experience if the weather weren't so hot. A must visit. Entry ticket can be bought in combination with other attractions. There was also free performance of traditional Japanese dance. What an experience. 👏🏻👏🏻

I was here in the summer. Compared with other Japanese gardens, Korakuen is HUGE! The view is amazing! To reach here, it takes you 20 minutes to walk from Okayama station. Or you can take the tram.

Absolutely stunning garden. we visited in autumn and it was extremely hot! would recommend an umbrella, hat, sunscreen and sunglasses! The garden it pretty big with lots of different areas to visit and water areas with lots of sea life. don't forget to visit the castle nearby by crossing the bridge.

Beautiful garden with amazing viewpoints of the castle. Wasn't too much crowded for a sunday afternoon. It is sad to see a whole part of the garden had the trees cut down because those still standing look really old. The price on google maps should be changed though, we thought it was 112¥ like written but that was the price for a group of 20+ senior people, we paid 410¥ each, still worth it but we barely had enough money on us.
