Only worth to visit around end of April when it blooms, otherwise you can walk around the Okazaki park area

Visited on Sunday, April 21, 2024. About 15 minutes walk from Meitetsu Higashi-Okazaki Station. Near Okazaki Castle, there is a wisteria trellis of approximately 1,300 square meters with free admission. very beautiful. Bees were flying around in the wisteria flowers, attracted by the nice scent. The seven wisteria flowers that were designated as natural monuments of Aichi Prefecture in 2022 are 120 years old and have a lot of vitality, so I think it's worth seeing once.

Gomangoku Fuji in Okazaki, the wisteria trellis is long and low, and you can see the flowers spreading out in front of you. You can feel the scent right in front of your eyes, and it really makes you feel good. Last year I saw Fuji illuminated at night, so this year I saw it during the day, and it was spectacularly beautiful during the day as well. There's no reason to be beautiful. It was good.

2024.4. 25 Visit to Gomangoku Fuji There were many people watching and taking pictures even on weekdays. (It wasn't as crowded) Beautiful wisteria. It smells good too. Sit on the bench and enjoy the view. The hospitality officer was also cool. The wisteria festival runs until May 5th. There were also food stalls.

I went on April 25th. The 1,300m2 wisteria trellis located in the southwest of Okazaki Park has benches surrounding it, so you can take your time to admire it.When I went, it was a little past its peak, but there were long, weeping pink and purple wisteria with a fragrant scent. is worth a look.
