A small hill in Tagawa City. It is named ``Romance Hill'' because of the splendid view. If you follow the Natsuyoshi Forest Road from the Natsuyoshi area, you will see the trailhead. From there, you can reach the observatory in about 10 to 15 minutes on foot. The observatory, which is located on a karst plateau made of limestone, offers a panoramic view of Tagawa City and the towns of Tagawa District. There are some hills that may feel a bit steep for those who are not used to it, but the path is solid and I don't think it would be a bad picnic course. There is no parking lot, but there are spaces for several cars near the entrance.

From the entrance, you will have to climb a fairly steep slope. After about 6 minutes, you'll go downhill and climb a steep slope again. You will arrive at the hut in about 20 minutes. You can see an outstanding view from the hut. The scenery gets even better as you climb up the rocky area. On the way, there was something that looked like a wild boar. It would be better to make noise with a stick or something while climbing. I went in the morning so I was able to see the sunrise. There is no parking lot, so you will have to park on the side of the road.

I stopped by while cycling! It is a spot with a very good view and a panoramic view of Tagawa City. It was exhilarating to climb to the top of the arbor and get a wider view. However, you will have to walk for about 10 minutes on an unpaved road from the forest road. There are some steep ups and downs, and the ground is gravel/soil with some bushes, so be prepared for the climb. It seems like there will be more insects in the summer... For bicycles, it is difficult to wear cleated shoes. I would at least like a cover. It's slippery, so you might be hesitant to push your bike along.

Visited early in the morning around March 2023. The entrance is a little difficult to find and there is no parking lot. I think it takes about 10 minutes to reach the observatory and the slope is easy. Although the observatory was in a dilapidated state, the view was quite good. It looks like you're looking to the west.
