Nice walking area with several paths, a nice garden, and two historical museums. Though the museums are 95% japanese text as of April 2024. There's also a nice 30 minute boat ride around the moat for 1000¥. The boat tour guide only speaks in Japanese as well but that's okay, you can focus on taking pictures. Note at the end of the ride the roof is lowered and you have to bend down while you go under the low bridge. One tip, board on the left side of the boat which means you'll be on the right side while going around the park. It has a better view for pictures most of the ride.

I went for the Shizuoka festival! It was a beautiful park to enjoy the Sakura blossoms and spend time with family and friends. Lots of food stalls and even shows during the festival. I would like to come back next year!

Nice park with a garden. The park is public and free, the garden is extra but worth seeing.

Beautiful place to visit. The ladies at the garden entrance were more than delightful. The tea house was an incredible experience, sadly y got eaten by mosquitos as it had just rained. Oh well, it's part of life. The gate and the turret are mesmerizing, but the samurai armor was pretty cool. Got to learn a bit more about Shizuoka's history.

Went to the park that has Tokugawa Ieyasu statue and his orange groves. Was very impressed and nice to make his acquaintance. I traveled to Shizuoka and have learned a lot in the last two days and having a guide helped because I was able to go to all the places of interest that I wanted to experience. Took many pictures of trees and the moat area as well. Shizuoka is an interesting place and everyone should visit this place at least once in their life.
