Amazing scene on a nice and sunny day! There are really many different angles you can take pictures from: the sidewalk, the bridge, the shrine, and the little pathway along the river from the west side of the shrine. Just take bus 73 from north Saga Station bus stop, opposite of the Toyota Car Rental near the north side of the Saga Station.

Really pretty Koi streamers. You can also take a boat to go on the river under the streamers.

Depending on the water level, there are 1st and 2nd class rapids. If the river water level is 1.9 or higher, it will be the amount of water that can be descended by packraft or kayak. However, it is dangerous for beginners to do it alone. Be sure to go down with a river guide or paddlers who are familiar with the river and have rescue skills.
