Even in the middle of summer, the water is clean and very cold. Vehicles are not allowed on the forest road, so it's a 30-40 minute walk, but if you think of it as a walk to cool off, it's also a good thing since almost no one visits here. However, it is a waterfall created by erosion control facilities, so I would not recommend it if you are looking for a natural view.

It is about 1.5 km from Minoge bus stop on the forest road on the Oyama side, but it is difficult to go by car as the road narrows halfway and you cannot turn around. In the summer, the mountain crest comes out, and in the winter, the water volume decreases.

The road itself looked mysterious after the rain, and there was a sign warning of bears, but it was fine, but on the way down to Minoge, there was a hill festival. About 15 of them climbed onto my feet, legs, stomach, and neck, and my family panicked. When I was exterminating them at the foot of the mountain, a monk from a temple helped me by spreading salt, but it seems that repellents are essential. We were foolish to come down ignorantly. Leeches are really scary and traumatic. Please be careful after rain.

Visited on March 17, 2024. Mitsumata will be in full bloom next week after about 8 minutes.

On the way down from Mt. Oyama to Yabitsu to Minoge, there is a bright and flat road where you can see a Mitsumata colony and a waterfall and take a break. Where is the spring water? When I looked closely, I noticed that the pipes were swollen. I didn't feel like drinking it, but what do you think?
