Loves the Edo buildings lining the old street. Very much like Kyoto only shorter. The matcha shop with their ice cream, matcha latte and muochi are excellent.

The Narita Gion Festival is held here every July. It is a very exciting festival, but be warned that it is quite a hot season and many people suffer from heat stroke every year.

A very authentic Japanese local town away from Hustle and bustle of Tokyo, I like the local vibes compared to Kyoto which overloaded with foreign tourists. Best part is you could have lunch together with the locals. My advise is to spend 5-6 hours to fully immerse the experience. Is only 20 minutes away by train from Narita Airport

On January 7, 2024, we made a visit while in Narita. There are long-standing rows of stores and eateries, so it's definitely worth the visit. This neighbourhood is known for its eel, therefore you really must try them. We also sampled some hot sake. Due to the large number of vehicles waiting to pass on the road, driving here may be difficult. The best option is probably to walk here from nearby Narita Station, which is not too far. It's also a good idea to arrive early to avoid crowds, make it simpler to obtain seats in restaurants, and purchase food from vendors.
