Wow! This place is amazing! It’s even more beautiful in person than in photos. We went on a Saturday and it was packed. It said that it will close at 4pm and we arrived there at 3:45 😅 we were still able to go in, and it was still crowded, looks like it closes at 6pm. Not really sure. We left before 6pm and there were just us and a couple left in the park. The parking is about 500meters passed the park, and the traffic gets really slow when u are near the park. The beautiful photo that someone uploaded, where the floor looks like a glass, it was actually just a table inside the house where it reflects the outside view. It was very packed so we didn’t go in. U can see in one of my photos where there are many people in. I suggest going here in weekdays for better pictures where there are no much people. I was able to take more nice photos before we left, when people have already left the park. The entrance was about 700 yen. I actually forgot. But bring some cash. Overall, great experience. Would love to comeback here.

This is place you can enjoy in a Japanese garden and housing. It it in the middle of hill. The parking is located a couple mins walk away. You can look around the garden by free and when you get in the tatami floor on the 2nd floor. You pay 500 yen to the lady. Looks like this place is a family owned. The inside, there are wide low table. The table face is really reflective so from particular point, you can take pictures as like reflected beautiful leaves. The owner teach us where you should put your camera and how to take good pictures. She was very kind to take my alone photo in the green back!! I think just 30mins is good to enjoy in the house. Besides the view I highly recommend you to walk in the garden!! It’s so refreshing!!! You should come here if you visit Saga!! Enjoyyyy!!!!

Quite an ascent by car to get up there through the switchbacks, but there's some grandeur awaiting atop the summit. During the leaf-changing spectacle of early October, when we went, the park foliage is ablaze with hues of amber and crimson. The sojourn unfolds as a leisurely 30-minute walk around the sanctuary, which has a diverse array of visitors, most from overseas. Maples as far as the eye can see. There's an observation deck crowning the landscape, offering a vantage point for capturing the scene as a reflection on the table. And various stalls, one selling 'Boar Stew' which was a nice little dish, and another place where you can partake in some green tea sipping. The park's story is touching – a father, grieving for his lost son, decided to dedicate his life to nature, giving the sanctuary a deeper sense of purpose.

Pretty views, but a little crowded and underwhelming.

It's a nice park for autumn leaves view. But 500 yen is overpriced
