Katsuyama Castle Museum

Assalamualaikum brother, this castle is great place to visit in Katsuyama. The castle is so beautiful and very big, you can also enjoy milk ice cream in front of this castle.

An imposing and very attractive castle. The museum was closed but you can freely walk all around the gardens and castle walls. Feed fish at the moat. Almost free of other tourists.

The exterior of the castle has stone dragons on every side. It has a total of six floors. You begin the tour of the castle on the top floor which is the observation deck with excellent views in every direction. On the fifth are some paintings about the history of Katsuyama-city(only in Japanese) and other observation posts. On the fourth is an exibition of local artists (the castle is used as an exhibition hall). The third floor is the most interesting for the samurai fans. It has some really nice armor and weapons, as well as other artifacts on display. On the second are paintings (modern art. The last floor which is the first floor is the entrance and some information about the rebuilding of the castle.

I don't understand the negative reviews, this place is amazing. The view from inside is great.
