A old shrine to visit while at Okinawa Naha. Its gets crowded with Tourists at time. You could get some souvenirs here. There a beautiful beach behind the shrine. Its about 15mins walk from monorail Station. There a few parking available at the temple. Limited parking. Its interesting to visit.

Beautiful shrine next to a busy highway. It's also next to a nice beach, though it does get crowded at times, especially on a sunny day. It's not a major attraction but a little spot to visit if you have time.

Naminoue shrine 波上宫 one of the popular shrine in Naha prefecture. Located on a high cliff overlooking the naminoue beach and the ocean. Is a great spot for photography and sight seeing. Can walk down the lanes to the beach beside the shrine.

Just a few minutes walking from the city centre, it is located in a cliff next to the beach. The shrine has been and still is a place of veneration and worship as well as a scenic spot. The cliff is very important because it houses ancient tombs. It venerates Shinto and Buddhist deities, and it is possible to perform the purification ritual. Don't forget to respect locals as they perform their rituals.

The shrine is really nice and beautiful. They have a shop with trinkets. And they have free parking up at the top near the shrine, just park for 30 minutes or less. Please be careful coming up the hill.
