Shikido is the restored house on the grounds of Shoshuji Temple where Shiki Masaoka, the founder of modern haiku, lived until he was 17 years old. There is a reception desk on the right side of the front of "Shoshuji", and the normal admission fee is 50 yen. This time, I heard that a small fan was 100 yen and included in the admission fee, so I bought it. Payment can be made with electronic money. It's a convenient world. You can enter the building with your shoes on. The desk used by Masaoka Shiki, his ink, his belongings, and photographs were on display. In the plaza in front of Shiki-do, there was a display of the Botchan Train Passenger Car, which appears in the novel Botchan by Natsume Soseki, who had a close relationship with Shiki Masaoka. There was a ``Monument to Shiki and Baseball'' next to the passenger car.

I think this is for people who have some prior knowledge of Shiki's life, career, and life, such as by having seen ``Kumo on the Hill''. I think the Shiki Memorial Museum in Dogo is the one that you can enjoy without any prior knowledge. The tour fee is said to be 50 yen, but I was advised to get one that comes with various goodies, so I didn't realize that I could just pay the tour fee without them.

I think the price is reasonable, and the tickets have a slightly different atmosphere and are cute. I also felt it was a little difficult to get into.
