Olive Beach

While waiting for the olive bus, we ventured to the beach. Not crowded, only a few visitors. Just before the beach lies the Olive Navi museum, highlighting the history of olive growing in Shodoshima.

It's a beautiful beach with several cafés/shacks nearby. There are snorkels, tents and floaties for rent. However, the swimming area doesn't have a net so it's a bit dangerous. There were multiple jellyfish and a sea urchin. I wish they would install a net so that swimming could be safer.

A popular crowded beach with adjacent parking and visitor information center. The water isn't very clear and the swimming area is long but narrow. No lifeguard on duty. Beach houses are available during peak season with rental showers, food, and for-pay other amenities. Free showers are available to wash your feet. Wheelchair accessible toilet available.

It's ok, a bit small, dirty like an my other beach. It gets deep quite quickly so really need to keep an eye on the kids. You can rent and do water activities like SUP, yoga, banana boat and so on. There are two restaurants by the beach. There is also a free parking with restrooms. No shower but a an small water faucet to rinse.

Beach is quite nice, I don't know swimming is allowed or not here. The scenic view really give you a mental freshness. Car parking is available here.
