Kuchu Teien Observatory

Beautifully constructed observatory. It was not too crowded during daytime and the open-air-skywalk offers phenomenal views over Osaka. There is a nice 360 degree indoor area with a café where you can enjoy the view through huge windows with air condition 🤗 it’s totally worth it!

While some comments mentioned it being expensive, it really depends on what you’re comparing it to. We purchased our tickets in advance, but you still need to queue up to scan your QR code and get the physical tickets. Fortunately, the wait wasn’t long, which was a pleasant surprise since we arrived a bit before sunset. We had a great time, and the views were fantastic. It's truly a beautiful place to visit.

Amazing view from the top. I highly recommend coming before sunset so that you can see the view during the day and at night. I would’ve given 5 stars but the line to go up was quite long (we went on a Saturday). The value was very good, the ticket to go up was only 2000 yen.

Nice place to visit to get 360 degrees view of the Osaka skyline. The place is well organised and there wasn’t much of a queue when we arrived around 09:30. Unusually you buy your entrance ticket half way through the ascent process after the elevator journey. Admission is AS$15 and is worth it for the views and the experience of the open air views. There are some videos, stills and models of the design and construction process that are interesting too. Worth a visit.

An spectacular views of Osaka form the top, the facility was neat and clean.We went there during weekday afternoon, it was busy because there ate some performance going on near the entrance of the building. There was also a love heart locket and lock it up on top of the observatory., ( You need a reserve ticket to enter the love heart locket area).thougj you still can see it from a distance. It was pretty windy on the outside portion, so I'd recommend not wearing anything that'll fly off easily, but hey the view is amazing! Highly recommended. 👍
