The karakuri clock here plays for 8 minutes every hour from 9am to 9pm. Along with that, small dolls come out and dance Yosakoi. Along with that, you can see Kochi Castle from above the clock, Ryoma Sakamoto from the left, and Harimaya Bridge from the right.

It is located on the east side of Harimaya Bridge. At 8:00 p.m., Yosakoi-bushi music began to play from above the Dentetsu Terminal Building. In time with the music, Kochi Castle appears from the top of the illuminated mechanical clock, Yosakoi dancer dolls from the bottom, Harimaya Bridge from the right, and Katsurahama from the left. It was my first time sightseeing in Kochi, and something unexpected happened. I enjoyed it.

A mechanical clock installed in the Dentetsu Terminal Building in March 1998. For about 8 minutes every hour on the hour from 9:00 to 21:00, the castle tower of Kochi Castle rises above the karakuri clock, and the Yosakoi Naruko dance is performed below. As the dancers dance wildly, the statues of Katsurahama and Ryoma appear on the left, and on the right, a scene appears in which Suminobu hands a hairpin to the horse. There are also illuminations and fireworks displays at night. This is a mechanical clock that takes advantage of the best parts of Kochi and is worth seeing if you have the right timing, such as while waiting for an express bus or local bus.
