A nice, scenic and peaceful park tucked away amongst the rice patties in the rural edges of Fukushima City. Feeding the koi fish and sampling some freshly made green tea are some of the things to look forward to coming here. :)

2024.05.29 After taking a walk around the nearby Sato Rien Rose Garden, I decided to visit this garden that caught my attention. A complete change from the gorgeous space filled with roses, you can leisurely walk around a beautifully landscaped garden with an emotional atmosphere. My daughter said, ``It's similar to the atmosphere of Kinkakuji Temple'' that I saw on a school trip. ” I was surprised to hear that the gardener who worked on the garden at Kinkaku-ji Temple had done the work. We were kindly welcomed by the teahouse staff, and we were able to enjoy the view of the pond while enjoying a cup of tea. You can see a small statue of Kannon next to the teahouse. In addition to the beautiful irises in bloom, if you visit in the morning you can also see the water lilies blooming. As expected, the cherry blossoms had long since passed, and were putting on fresh, green leaves.

I discovered this while searching for Takayu Onsen on Google Maps while traveling in the car. I was surprised to find such a magnificent garden in this area. It is a wonderful strolling garden. The visit was in late October 2023 on a sunny evening with no wind. I was the last person to enter the park around 4pm. It is reserved for private use and has a deep atmosphere. The pond seen through the autumn leaves from the promenade is like a mirror. It's nice to see the trees. There is also a magnificent tea room adjacent to the pond, where tea parties and other events are held. We received free tea at a teahouse along the way. I think there are other ways to enjoy the flower season. It's a wonderful garden. We would like to see more recognition, so we would like to ask those involved to actively promote the event.
