Namatukajiya no Ipponmatsu

A large pine tree next to the elementary school grounds. According to the explanatory signboard, it is probably a remnant of the row of pine trees along Matsumae Kaido. The tree is about 500 years old and was owned by a blacksmith, so it came to be called the blacksmith's pine.
