A wonderful trip through the cedar forest, which was very pleasant in the heat. The stone path is overgrown with moss and can be slippery when wet. The path is wide, but be sure to wear comfortable shoes. We hardly met anyone on a working day.

Beautiful 1.5 Km trail. The stones were paved in 1740s because of the muddy path. There are bamboo sticks at the side for you to use as the stones are covered in moss. I walked slowly and enjoyed the path that was frequently used in the olden days.

Great stone trail. Venue of famous drama Segodon. May be tough for seniors.

A quiet place for a walk and in contact with the nature. However, the floor can be slippery after rain.

It is adjacent to Ryumon Falls, so you can trek in conjunction with it. This is an old logistics road that was maintained by placing stones on the road... The stones are full of moss and are shaded by tall trees, making trekking cool even in the middle of summer. I can. However, the old road where the stones are laid is finished in about 30 to 40 minutes, and after that it is an asphalt road. Asphalt. You can go to the observatory in the middle, but from the observatory you can only see the village and Ryumon Falls is not visible because it is obscured by the trees. After coming down from the observatory, there is a fork in the road on the left side of the road leading to Ryumon Falls, so you can return to Ryumon Falls. Personally, I think that if you come at dawn, you can feel a more dreamy atmosphere with the fog.
