The journey to the place is very far. Had to stop the car quite a distance away as the car was quite big for the road. The walk up the mountain was very steep.

A tiered waterfall with a drop of 50m that flows into a tributary of the Hayatsuki Tani River. Although it looks like a direct waterfall, there is a 10m-long slanted waterfall flowing above it, which cannot be seen from the observation deck or in front of the waterfall. The name comes from the fact that it was said to be the second largest waterfall after Nachi Falls. It's about 300m from the entrance to the waterfall, 5-10 minutes. There is an observatory along the way where you can see the distance. There is a promenade and it is basically easy to walk. There is a slight incline when descending to the basin of the waterfall, but it is not steep as it is in the form of steps. The foothold in front of the waterfall is a little narrow. Just wear clothes and shoes that are easy to walk in front of the waterfall. From the basin of the waterfall to the top, it winds up in a small way from the right side. There are trails, but I ignore them and take shortcuts by climbing up the rock walls here and there. Climb up to the upper entrance and cross to the right bank. If you go down the side of the Gorge, you will reach the lower entrance. Auxiliary ropes are installed from the upper entrance to the lower entrance. I don't trust it so I don't use it. It is possible to descend using a standing tree without a rope, but for safety reasons I think it is better to bring your own. There is a clear path a little upstream from the Kaminagaguchi entrance, and if you follow the right bank and go down, you will reach a distant view point. Free parking available. You can park 2 to 3 cars.

It was a beautiful waterfall with a difference in height. The rope to the basin of the waterfall was a little short, so I managed to climb it. The view from the observation deck is amazing

Please note that the road to the parking lot is narrow. The trees have grown a lot! It seems like it's getting a little difficult to see the whole thing from the observation area. You can walk all the way to the back, but be careful where you step!
