Yufuin Floral Village is a charming, small attraction in Japan, designed like a European fairy-tale village with colorful cottages and beautiful flowers. It offers cozy shops, cafes, and animal encounters, making it great for a short, relaxing visit. While it's picturesque, some find it crowded and tourist-focused during peak times. The only thing I didn't like at the hotel is that they didn't have any private bathroom with the rooms, they do have a public bath / onsen / spa for the guests staying at the hotel. Not all of the guests may be comfortable with having a public/ shared bath so they can have a reservation system for the guests considering that they have only a limited number of rooms available ( 4-5 maybe). Otherwise rooms were spacious and had all the necessary amenities ( oven, fridge, tea, electric kettle).

Few streets of individual small shops selling the standard stuff like food, souvenirs, clothing, restaurants, tote bags and etc...or not mistaken an owl cafe. Prices abit high as its tourist attraction locations. Happy shopping, eating and site seeing...Cheers. 😎

Really cute and small. Emphasis on small. Not sure why I was expecting a larger area this tiny park can be walked through in a couple minutes when it’s not too crowded. My favorite part was the area to feed the Guinea pigs. They are super cute. Very cute fairy tale vibe.

Very disappointing place, small area with tiny plastic houses and nothing you can’t find in a regular ghibli store. Also it’s very sad to see the animals in such tiny spaces. The goats are lying on bricks and don’t even have grass. Definitely not worth it, so many nicer places in Japan to see where they don’t exploit animals.

We did not stay here at the hotel we just walked through the neighborhood. Cute little shops and buildings. The ally’s are narrow and the doorways short. As a 5.8foot female I was ducking through a lot. Very busy on weekend but still great.
