Comparatively small Japanese garden surrounded by historical house. Car park nearby but not too many lots. There was a temporary car park besides the river. No toilet was found. No big restaurant too.

It is located in a corner of the townscape preservation district. It is a familiar park where you can enjoy each style in spring, summer, fall, and winter. It is also famous for its cherry blossoms in spring and the autumn leaves in autumn. It is a garden only available to feudal lords, and it is well-maintained and has a lot of greenery, making it very pleasant. Ginpukaku is also beautifully preserved. There were supposed to be a lot of carp swimming in the pond, but on the day I visited, I couldn't find any. There are also Kinoshita Rigen's birthplace and samurai residences nearby, so it's worth a visit.

This is a strolling garden with a pond built by the Kinoshita family, the former lords of the Ashimori domain. You can see it for free, and it is also a famous spot for cherry blossoms and autumn leaves.
