Iwate Town is famous for its cabbages, and in July you can see a lot of seasonal spring greenery! If you want to buy lots of vegetables, we recommend coming as soon as they open (at least by 11am). The main reason my family visits this place is the pork from Iwate Meat Kobo! ! ! Honestly, I feel like they'll run out faster than vegetables grown directly from the farm. Previously, you could buy at around 2pm, but recently (as of June 2024) they were preparing to leave at around 11:30. The pork belly is exquisite, and the grilled pork and hamburgers are also popular. If you go early, everyone who makes a purchase will receive lard and pork bones. The minced meat cutlets at Niku no Fugane and the handmade rice balls at the farm-direct corner are also delicious, so if you're feeling peckish, you can stop by and fill your stomach with them! The cabbage soft serve looks weird at first glance, but it's delicious! The cabbage has a slight sweetness, and the milk it's based on is really delicious! There are also illuminations in winter. Admission is free. It's a short period, but it's worth it.

This is a very beautiful roadside station with an art museum attached. It seems to be famous for cabbage, and they even have cabbage soft serve ice cream. There is a fee to visit the museum and the art forest, but I would have liked to take my time to look around if I had time.

I thought it was an attractive roadside station where you could enjoy a lot of things. The direct sales corner is full of delicious local food. Many of the dishes at the restaurant use ingredients from Iwate Prefecture and nearby areas, and they are well thought out, carefully prepared, and delicious. I saw the Ishinomaki flounder pickled rice bowl on the menu, so I ordered it. The fresh pickled flounder was delicious. The Iwaizumi yogurt that came with the dessert and the blueberry sauce was also rich and delicious. There is a fee to enter the museum's garden, but it's really worth seeing and it's also a good exercise. Hydrangea and lavender were beautiful this season. This is a roadside station that I would like to visit again.

I visited on Sunday afternoon. There is a menu that focuses on local ingredients. There was a restaurant, a direct-from-the-farm produce corner from Iwate Town, the vegetable kingdom, and more. It is also adjacent to the Ishigami no Oka Museum of Art. Soft serve ice cream made with cabbage There were also steamed buns, drops, and ramen.
